This popular annual event is based at Trabolgan Holiday Centre, East Cork. The actual fishing is in the Atlantic Ocean and the massive waters of Cork Harbour - the second largest natural harbour in the world. The fishing will be the same format as in previous years with the competition based around a mix of species and specimen fish, with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 anglers per boat.

There are four competition days between Sunday and Thursday depending on weather. Days of travel for this event are Friday to Friday.
