Pike Fishing in Ireland

Ireland has long enjoyed a great reputation for pike; the good news is that in recent years Irish pike fishing has got even better, thanks to there being lots of baitfish and generally clearer water conditions now.

From smaller water systems like the Dromore, to large lakes and loughs like Derravaragh and Derg, all have produced lots of fish and some decent ones too. Expect to catch pike in the five to fifteen pounds range with the chance of twenties and thirties. We have accommodations in all the good pike areas, many offering boat hire, and identified with our pike symbol.
