County Cork - Inniscarra
Mainly roach, rudd and hybrids with a few decent bream shoals.
This is a reservoir and waters levels constantly change. The pole or
Polaris method is generally best. Weights vary and are affected by
weather and water level. Good access and pleasant fishing in scenic
surroundings. If you locate the few big bream shoals you will have some
cracking sport with bags in excess of 300 pounds being recorded, but
that is not the norm.
The River Blackwater with roach and Dace is within a reasonable drive
for those seeking more variety where 30 - 50 pound bags on pole and
stick float can be had.
