With over 30 years of travel experience to Ireland - still the most popular angling
holiday destination, we highlight a small selection of our extensive programme.
With such a huge choice of holidays throughout this friendly country, it really does
cover every conceivable option.
A great place for wild natural waters with wild fish. The roach and hybrid fishing has
really taken off in recent years with real quality fish. Bream fishing is good providing
you have warmth and natural colour in the water, particularly on bright days.
Even during unsettled times with gin clear water, those anglers who have fished really
early and late have enjoyed excellent bream fishing. Tench feed well from May through
the summer months, but May June is best. Water craft plays an important part here. Its
not like stock-pond fishing at home, but it’s a damn sight more enjoyable and rewarding.
The Erne System and Lakeland fishes well from April to October with great roach,
hybrids and bream. Some waters offer excellent rudd and tench fishing. The Shannon is
Ireland’s biggest river with huge lakes as part of the system and lots of tributaries.
Good roach, bream, hybrids, rudd and tench. You have a sense of freedom with no
licences in the South (you do require a licence and permit in Northern Ireland).
